"For every hill I've had to climb..............

For all the blood and sweat and grime..............

My heart sings but a grateful song..............

There were the things that made me strong"

The above lines carry a deeper meaning than the written. "A Challenge can be viewed as climbing a hill. Going up the hill requires desire, determination & dedication. Along the way there may be unexpected obstacles. Nevertheless, the obstacles are overcome and the climbing up the hill continues. The mere sight of the final destination makes us feel stronger."

It is the need of the hour that education may become a memorable experience. This can be made possible only if the education we impart is "Child Centered" with the child as focus of all such activities definitely evolves a learning climate that suits every learner so as to yield maximum. Confucius, a Chinese philosopher, aptly says "Students have to be involved actively throughout the whole learning process. The essence of classroom teaching can be described as imparting new knowledge to students."

A meaningful education should prepare students to understand & deal intelligently with modern life. What better place to start but in our classrooms and what better time than now.
